She observes “understanding and learning about globalization and the competencies needed to manage across multiple cultures and per- spectives have been fascinating. I was raised and socialized to understand and integrate multiple cultures and take those differences into consideration when communicating. We value having multiple cultures and perspectives on our teams. This crosscultural experienced has also philosophically broadened my decision making perspective. While a management problem or intervention may seem like it is local, there is a need to look globally across the enterprise and manage the impact of any intervention at an enterprise level”.
