Richard C. Staten, DM '15

Richard Staten, DM’15, a Director at The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, received the Best Paper Award at the Academic Organization for Advancement of Strategic and International Studies (OASIS) Key West International Multidisciplinary Conference in March 2015. It was presented to him by Academic OASIS President Dr. Detelin Elenkov (International Business Chair at Angelo State University), and Senior Vice President Dr. Arnold Schneider (Accounting Chair of the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology). His paper is titled “An Open Innovation Application Management Framework through the Lens of the Knowledge-Based Theory of the Firm.” Richard was also confirmed as an Executive Vice President of Academic OASIS. Additionally, Dr. Staten was granted his 71st patent earlier this month on a package design for The Coca-Cola Company.
